SEO Specialist

Basic Function:

The SEO Specialist will help manage the SEO performance of multiple customers and is responsible for increasing organic traffic and rankings for targeted keywords in order to drive incremental revenue for our customers. This position will work closely with the Customer Success Managers who own each customer’s broader strategy and success in partnership with Q4Launch. 


The SEO Specialist will work closely with the other members of the SEO team. The position requires someone that's a team player but also a self starter that does not need extensive oversight as this person will work autonomously on several projects. This person should have a passion for the search industry, a creative outlook, and a collaborative, can-do attitude.


Skills and Abilities:

Demonstrate ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously. Excellent creativity and brainstorming abilities. Works well independently, problem solving capabilities and sense of humor essential.

Must have understanding of performance reporting, search engine optimization, and analytical skills. High level of attention to detail and a willingness to work hard to drive business initiatives forward. English fluency is essential.

Principal Responsibilities:

  1. Manage SEO performance across several websites simultaneously
  2. Analyze organic search landscapes to find opportunities that drive traffic that increases customer revenue and create and lead new strategies if normal tactics are ineffective
  3. Work with the content team, Customer Success team, and development teams to set content strategy, create new landing pages, optimize existing content, and capture meaningful organic search opportunity
  4. Create reporting to be shared externally and internally that includes keyword rankings, traffic, links, conversions, and revenue
  5. Perform technical site audits to find opportunities in site architecture, crawling, and indexing performance
  6. Stay up-to-date with current industry trends and innovative tactics in organic search
  7. Track keyword rankings and other KPIs such as organic traffic and impression growth across multiple accounts and provide recommendations to improve
  8. Advise clients and team members on SEO best practices and help guide SEO strategy going forward
  9. Perform ongoing keyword research for relevant topics, locations, and customers
  10. Audit live sites for any issues related to: pagespeed, content, broken links, image optimization, indexing on search engines, URL structure, etc.


  1. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years experience in Search Engine Optimization
  2. Experience actively managing multiple accounts simultaneously
  3. Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Excel and other common reporting platforms
  4. Google Tag Manager experience is a plus
  5. Comprehensive knowledge of SEO tools such as SEMRush, Ahrefs, Adwords keyword tool, Screaming Frog preferred
  6. Solid experience with Google Analytics UI and reporting analysis
  7. Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
  8. Excellent professional, communication skills, both verbal and written
